A book worth a look

"Gardener's Q&A" by National Gardening Association

Gardener's Q&A coverNon-Fiction - Gardening

My rating: ****
Great book full of useful advice and interesting gardening facts.  Good for beginners and masters alike as it serves as a useful reference.  Lots of answers to common gardening questions. For those who don't know, gardening is one of my hobbies.  I run a gardening blog too: Sarah's Melbourne Kitchen Garden

Summer Harvest - tomatoes

This year I decided to grow multiple varieties of tomatoes - I bought a set of the Diggers Club multi-colour seedling.  The tomatoes taste great and look just wonderful.

(Yes there are some Slim Jim eggplants and Black Beauty zucchinis in the mix here too)

Blog changes

The start of the new year means that it is time to review the blog and how it is going.  I am intending to keep the current page format but I am going to change the post format to a monthly newsletter style format.  I will have special posts for special events of course, but hopefully the newsletter style will cover off on relevant gardening news in an easy to access format.  I have also started a garden video diary.  This will appear on the Landscaping page of this blog.  The latest entry will be at the top of the page, and video history at the bottom.  Enjoy.

Welcome to 2015

This is a bit of a lazy post as it is only photos of my Christmas garden!  Oh and a photo of the lovely V&A garden tool kit my Step-son gave me for my birthday.  I will put up a proper post next week.
